Resolvity Unveils Cloud Telephony Solution in India
February 15, 2012
Resolvity, a provider of on-demand IVR and speech recognition solutions, announced its launch in Indian market. The company has announced the launch of VoiceGain cloud telephony solution for small and medium enterprises in India. India is a potential market for cloud telephony and IVR. So far, these services have been restricted to large enterprises such as banks, telecom and insurance companies who have the capital to procure and integrate such systems with their IT infrastructure, according to Sudhir Shenoy, senior vice president, Resolvity India. “VoiceGain will now allow SME businesses to leverage the same telephony capabilities as a large corporate and allow them to serve their prospects and customers professionally 24/7 on a pay-per-use model,” Shenoy added. The cloud telephony solution allows Indian SMEs to store, manage, and track telephone sales inquiries and leads. They can route these enquiries in real time to their field sales personnel. The leads can be shared on mobile phones. The service also includes a virtual call center delivered on a pay-per-use model. VoiceGain combines voice, telephony and web-based technologies. Businesses can start using the solution as soon as it is activated without any investments in hardware, software or telephony. The self-serve portal allows businesses to track, analyze and improve their call handling effectiveness. “Resolvity’s cloud Speech IVR platform processes over 60 million inbound & outbound customer calls annually for Fortune 1000 companies in the US” said Arun Santhebennur, co-founder and CEO of Resolvity, in a statement. “We are now bringing the same scalable technology platform and years of expertise in state-of-the-art cloud telephony and hosted IVR solutions to the Indian SME market.” In another major development in the industry, recently Intelliverse (News - Alert), a provider of cloud-based communications solutions, announced the launch of its hosted solution for contact centers. The hosted solution integrates interactive voice response (IVR), automated call distribution (ACD) and IP Telephony applications into one solution.
